Formula One

Formula One, abbreviated to F1 (or the full name of The FIA Formula One World Championship), is a class of formula car racing of the highest seat single. It consists of a series of races known as the Grand Prix. Racing was held in the circuit or a public road in a city that is closed to the public. The results define two world titles, one for drivers and one for constructors. In racing, racing car can reach speeds of 300 km / h (185 mph) generated by the engine to achieve a power of 900 horsepower at 18,000 rpm rotation around the engine (as of 2005).
Europe is Formula One's traditional center and remains its center until now. Now the Grand Prix has been held all over the world, with new races in Bahrain, PRC, Malaysia and Turkey. Formula One racing car is the most expensive both in terms of production as well as sport.
The rules are governed by the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA), which is headquartered in the Place de la Concorde, Paris. The current president is Jean Todt, and are generally sponsored and arranged by the commercial rights holder Bernie Ecclestone formally through various companies.
